Dinner by Delivery!

Today Jun had to work late so we decided not to cook dinner.  She was feeling tired and I'm a bit sick with a cold at the moment so we both decided to order dinner. We agreed that we wanted something unhealthy, cheesy, and something that would arrive fast -so we ordered Pizza Hut!

We decided on the "Happy Buddy Combo" which consists of a medium size (12") pizza which has 6 slices, chicken wings(4 pieces) and a bag of bread sticks.  Our order arrived only about 20 minutes after making the call and costed the equivalent of $12 US.

Hawaiian pizza! YUM!

The portions here are quite a bit smaller than what I'm used to in Canada.  This meal suited two hungry adults just fine.

Pizza Hut in Thailand is great and foreigner friendly (...or at least English speaker friendly) as they have an operator that speaks English and will relay your order on to the nearest location.  Delivery fee is only 30baht (approx $1 US) and tipping is not expected, though it is appreciated.
BBQ chicken wings didn't look great, so I gave mine to Jun.

We're both full to the brim, so it's time to relax and watch a movie.

In Thailand you are given ketchup, oregano, and chili powder
with your pizza.

  1. I love pizza. LOVE. We do the same when we can't be bothered cooking, but usually it's a toss up between 'sending MJ to get McDonald's' or 'order a pizza so we can both stay in our pyjamas. -MJ

  2. If you lived here you wouldn't have to leave the house for McDonald's because MD's does delivery!! It's a blessing and a curse really. I wish there were healthier delivery options. How much does it normally cost when you order a pizza over there?
